MEET TYLER

Born and raised in Morehead, I’m proud to call Rowan County home. I’m one of five kids, raised by Jamie and Lisa Brown, both lifelong educators. Growing up, my brother and I spent countless hours helping our dad with carpentry and remodeling projects, learning early on the value of hard work.

I started my first mowing job at age ten and turned it into a small business that I’ve continued for more than 25 years. After graduating from Rowan County Senior High in 2006 and earning my degree from Morehead State University, I married my wife, Kayla Keeton. Together we’re the proud parents of twins, Avery and Reid.

In 2017, I joined the Rowan County Fiscal Court as Solid Waste/Floodplain Coordinator and later took on management of the Community Recycling Center. Serving this community has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and it’s what inspired me to take the next step in public service.

Join me in working every day to serve the people of Rowan County with honesty, accountability, and a commitment to getting the job done.
